Default Obama Care will it hurt the economy?

I think Obama care will crush our economy however I will gladly eat crow if it does not. I'm trying to get my friends and coworkers to save their receipts. Keep a power bill, grocery receipt and gas receipt. Note the cost of a unit of electricity and gas, a gallon of milk along with other basic items and gasoline. I'm putting it in my income tax folders so I can find them to compare against receipts a year or two from now. If I'm not paying considerably more for all those basic items I'll gladly eat crow.

You bet its gonna hurt the economy and make unemployment worse too.

Companies that didn't provide health care who were keeping some employees on to streamline efficiencey, but weren't essential; these employees are at great risk of loosing their jobs. Unfortunately many of the employees don't even know they fall into that catagory!

How about all those companies that keep employees at 36 hours so they didn't have to pay beni's. I bet a lot of those loose their jobs as well if they are required to now provide health insurance for them too!

Any change in employment numbers will hurt the economy.

I see a number of small businesses that have just been hanging on through this economy folding unless the economy comes back in a big way, which I doubt will happen very soon.

Does the bill say anything about companies being required to pay for employees health care?

I thought that was the good part? Business won't have to pay for health care. The governement will.

I don't think you'll have to eat crow...
Unless that is all there is... thanks to complete economic mismanagement!

    Start a list here.

I'm going to get a copy of some basic receipts this weekend. I'm sure we'll be paying a lot more in 2 years, 4 on the outside.

I think the actions of the so-called left can be explained by their desire to achieve utopia. There are some string pullers who only seek power and LOTS of useful idiots that love the notion of it. Utopia is the opiate of liberals.

All the Great Society, Social Security, Medicare and gun control pushes can be explained by the left's desire to achieve utopia. (IMHO)

It's the tool used to control them because they scoff at traditional religion. It's all the same thing though.
