    Default 5rd mags?

I am gonna do some hunting with my AR this year, I hear you can use any mag for coyote, but for an out os state deer hunt I will need a 5rd mag or 2. Anybody locally have them? I called Jensen and they said no, Sportsmans wharehouse sells the Remingtons for $39! Can you plug a 20/30rder and be legal? I havent searched the net yet, I was just looking locally for now. Thanks.

It depends on which state your hunting in. Also make sure it's legal in this other state to hunt deer with a .223.

I'd rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it.

Could always ask if somebody here might have one they'd be willing to part with..

I'm gonna hunt antelope in Wyoming this fall and use my bushmaster bar-10. So I was wondering the same stuff. I'll have to call them. Do they make 5 round FN metric mags?(308) That what the bushy uses.

Call the Division of Wildlife and ask how and if you can plug a 20 round mag. I worked with a guy that stuck a block of wood in a 20 rd mag and he said the local game warden blessed it as ok.

    Happy Hunting.
