Grammar police - There is a difference between weather/whether/etc. I kept re-reading the story looking for how weather played a role in whether the defendant was guilty or not.

A few thoughts for me: SKS for Bear? 200 critters sitting on the porch with him? ... The census worker saw the no tresspassing sign and went in anyways, then didn't leave when asked?... Regardless of "government worker" woudl that be grounds for a shoot? Police apprehended the man after a stake out at gun point and arrested for "felony menacing".... Did they observe this menacing during their stakeout?
