Default Ever want something you know you'll never have?

Yeah I mean besides that hottie you've always dreamed about. 1971 Hemi Cuda convertible! Probably not to everyone's taste especially being plum crazy purple but if I could have just one car, my dream car, this would definitely be it!!! I keep drooling looking at this car since it's been for sale for awhile but damn I would sell my soul to the devil to own that car!!!

It's for sale here in Colorado and only $250K
Wonder if they would trade my house for it?

I've got a buddy who could probably find out who the owner is (if he doesn't already know). Want me to ask around?

Well my friend, we have that much in common. I've had a boner for that car since I was 15 years old. I'm not even a MOPAR guy, but the 71' Hemicuda is the ultimate muscle car.

I'll put it on the Powerball list..

I wish I am in the market for a muscle car more in the $15k range which I know drops me down into the dirt as far as my pickings of collector cars go. I do check CL everyday though for that "perfect" car but so far they are either out of my price range or just not quite the right one. I have found a couple clones like a 70 Chevelle 454 ss clone and a beautiful 71 Olds cutlass W30 442 clone but something about a "clone" just rube me the wrong way.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention that I was expecting you to say "like a vagina?"

Twitchy, I just wondered. Maybe if you knew the owner you'd call him up and ask if the car was going to any local car shows so you could check it out or something.

I think so too! It's funny to see some peoples reaction to the colors they painted those cudas back in the day. I hate the color pink but would never pass up even a panther pink hemi cuda if I could afford one!

Back to reality here is one I have had my eye on that is olive color not a hemi but does have a 440 magnum. I just cannot get the guy to budge on his $21,500 asking price!

My dream car is the Interceptor from Mad Max, a modified Australian 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT (only 949 were built - without the mods!):

    LMAO!

Yeah no good would ever come of seeing that car in person I would just get myself into some serious financial trouble but thanks for the thought.

Yeah that is one bad ass car! I once looked into how that clutch worked on the blower and learned that it was more for show in the movie and not something that would really work. Without the rotors in the blower turning you loose major H.P. One hell of a cool idea though!
