FBI Raiding "Militias"

I'd be very interested in learning what this group/these groups are accused of doing that precipitated the raids.

Me too, considering that after the fact we learned that they really had no evidence that would justify ruby ridge, waco, or the raids on the FLDS compounds.

I didn't see anything about raid(s) in Colorado.

As an aside, CO-AR15 showed up on the first page of my google search 'colorado militia raid 2010', so that was cool.

Well, having no affiliation with the Michigan militia (I just thought the name sounded cool to use on forums...) I can't say for sure, but knowing a few individuals involved in Militia groups in Michigan, and specifically the one involved in the brunt of the arrests, they are very anti-authority and they were allegedly planning to begin targeting and killing local, state, and federal law enforcement officers. We'll see how it pans out, but I don't think the results will benefit any of us law-abiding gun owners...

if they are building pipe bombs and intending to kill people with it I can see why the FBI might be interested. If they were just plain ole people with some ideas then I would be a lot more concerned.
