Do I think my mother would be offended? No idea. Knowing my mother, I would imagine her reaction would be indifference. She's not very arty.
Will you see me there? I don't know, when are you going to be there? It closes in a couple of days so I probably won't be able to make it, but if you want to meet up... My mother won't be able to attend though, she lives 4000 miles away.
Thanks for the link that contains a better description of the show. Matt Barton's piece sounds (and looks) boring. Claire Rau's, I would go and see. Twenty feet of carved wooden chain, that's impressive work. I'm not sure I see anything promoting violence against women, though. I remember that in The Bacchae it was the men who suffered all the violence.
