    That is logical.

    Yes... found it:
    http://news.firedoglake.com/2010/03/...tegy-baffling/
Salazar and Browner highlighted the increased mileage standards, a joint rulemaking between the EPA and the Department of Transportation that was already announced months ago but got finalized today. Browner said that would save 1.8 billion barrels of oil over the next several years, which dwarfs the impact of offshore drilling in the eastern Gulf of Mexico, for example, assumed to be the most oil-rich area affected by today’s decision but expected to yield just 100 million barrels. Browner also highlighted the greening of the federal fleet, a doubling of the number of hybrid vehicles purchased by the government.
But I still say that to put out these numbers is disingenuous and misleading.
More pseudo-science and number fumbling that only serves to confuse the issue and muddy the waters.

I'm awake but numb to the lack of listening the senators and congressman and the so called CIC have done. they don't care what we have to say, I can punch keys on here all day but those idiots are doing as they please.
it will take an act of impeachment for obama and removal from office for the senators and congressman to get anything done.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

Default Thanks for keeping us awake

I agree with your sentiments and thank you for posting the information about the Heritage Foundation. The lies that are coming out of Washington DC are outrageous and continuous. If you repeat a lie often enough people start to believe it. I think their strategy is to tire us out before the election. The money being spent by the left is absolutely incredible.

    funkfool,
you're preaching to the choir here. .....

Know that we share your views and opinions and we're willing to do what it takes to TRY for change, but we just don't have the energy to keep complaining about it amongst those who share our views.
Yeah... understood... I just tend to get a bit over-wrought.
