Default Looking forward to November 6, 2012

We haven’t seen any sincere leadership from the GOP in decades, even less from the leftists [now Socialist party of the USSA]. Looking forward who do you suggest / consider / recommend as POTUS front-runners for the next national election cycle?

At this early juncture who has a shot at generating the groundswell necessary, escalating the momentum relentlessly and most importantly, brings to bear what you would expect of a Republican Presidential candidate (integrity, breadth of Presidential skill-set, fiscally “deep” (ß CRITICAL in my view) and let’s face it, possessing the required persona and physical attributes)? Who ya' feelin'?

    • Rubio - Generating flash success currently
    • Jindahl - Had fire in months past
    • Romney or Palin – Retreads or not?
    • Ryan - On my short-list personally
    • Darkhorses?
    • Others and why?
Damn...I don't ask for much, all I want is someone I can believe in and that gets the real work of the people done. Don't talk to me about it, get it right and get it done. I'm not a follower but I will commit to followowing the "right" leader to Hell and back if you give me one.

    My thoughts:
    • Rubio - Do we really know ANYTHING about Rubio? If anyone likes him... tell me why.
    • Jindahl - Good on gun rights - as far as I know... BUT: Voted YES on making the PATRIOT Act permanent. (Dec 2005) Health care: Universal access, but not government-run. (Feb 2009) Not a chance.
    • Romney - Gun rights supporter.... BUT: he said: Mandating citizens to buy health insurance is conservative. (Jan 2008) - NEVER! He will NEVER get my support.
    • Palin - Supports McCain - What else can you say - If she would support McCain and his PROGRESSIVE REPUBLICAN AGENDA... She is killing her chances... I don't think so.

    Tom tancredo!!!!!!!
    Ted nugent!!!!!

Really though, I would like to see ron paul gain more support. The guy has (as far as I know) morals, a love for the country, supports the constitution in it's entirety, and has a bit more brain activity than a brain dead squirrel (which cannot be said for many politicians these days).

    extract:

SENATOR TOM COBURN, M.D., ENDORSES MARCO RUBIO FOR U.S. SENATE

    Miami, FL

    Quote:
"I proudly endorse Marco Rubio for the U.S. Senate and look forward to working with him in Washington," Dr. Coburn said. "His genuine principles and proven record are evidence that he will come to Washington and be a consistent advocate for fiscal responsibility, individual liberty and the traditional values that have made America great."
    Quote:

"I have closely studied Florida’s Senate candidates and have no doubt that Marco Rubio is the only fiscal conservative in this race," added Dr. Coburn.

"Rubio would be a faithful guardian of taxpayer dollars in Washington and valued ally in the Senate. At a time when Washington is piling on crippling debt on our economy, the American people need Marco Rubio in Washington to stand up to this reckless behavior and offer clear conservative solutions.

I just can't take Palin seriously. If you think Obama has "handlers" (I do), Palin will have twice as many.
