Hey, I've been living in the Springs since the end of August and I'm a long time arfcommer. Anyway, fun facts about me:

-AZ native as the name implies
-Honorably discharged from the USMC a year and 4 days ago
-My concealed carry is a Wilson Combat Protector
-I believe 9mm is for women and foreigners
    -I'm a big time ar15 fan and just picked up my 3rd 5.56 AR, a DD M4
-I'm secure enough in my masculinity to be a cat owner
    -I hate hippies
    -I go to PPCC
-WPGC member and I go at least once a week w my Wilson
    -I prefer the EOTech
-My picture is hanging on the wall at Buffalo Wild Wings for doing the "Blazing Wing Challenge" so yeah, I'm kind of a big deal around here.

And that's all for now. I look forward to expanding my firearm knowledge and wasting precious homework time on this site.

Ordinarily, whe folks don't include their location, I ask what part of CO you are from, BUT...

Since you go to Pikes Peak Community College, I figured you must live in Colo Spr or Pueblo.

Then, with the Whistling Pines Gun Club reference, I knew you must be from the Springs or the immediate area.

    Welcome.

BTW: 9mm is also for those of us who are a bit more frugal in our ammo expenses. I'd go broke buying .45 ammo for all of the practice shooting I'd like to be doing!

I believe, according to the Remington sign I have posted in my office at work, it should be "9mm is for women and pansies". (Okay, Princess, SOME women!)

Having said that, my carry gun is a SIG P6, and my latest handgun style toy is a customized G17. Otherwise, my favorite calibers are .45 and 10mm.

    Welcome AZ,
I have a 9mm derringer and you have to be pretty tough to shoot it. Gettin a nice showing from the Springs lately.

Haha, thanks for the warm welcome fellas. I really don't have anything against the 9, I just felt like stirring up a little trouble. That and I'm in love with the 1911 platform.

And for those of you that say they would go broke shooting 45, that just means it's time to start reloading!

Anyway, if any of you are WPGC members and you see some guy in a Ronald Reagan shirt or a black shirt with a big yellow skull on it (my old units logo) digging through the brass bucket and begging people for their brass, don't be afraid to say hi!
