I've got one of those buckets that someone got at Costco and gave me. Mine lists a lot more calories than the one online lists. For example, the Western Stew on mine lists 241 calories per serving when the one online lists 110. The bucket I have is a smidge under 40,000 calories total.
I disagree that you need 2000 calories a day to survive unless you’re covering some ground by foot, but if you were going to actually eat that much then this bucket would feed 1 person for 20 days. If you’re just sitting around holding down the fort for those 20 days then I think your belly would be plenty full and happy, but your blood pressure maybe through the roof with all the sodium in these things.
Take a look on Google for some base caloric intake calculators. It figures your height weight and age to tell you how many calories your body needs to survive as basicalyjust a bump on a log and not lose or gain weight. I'm 25 and in decent shape and mine is around 1800.
