If he started out as a grunt that would be one thing but some many dumbass senators (like Kerry) get no credibility for past service. Its what they do now that's important to me.

This doesn't surprise me. Most of theses jackasses aren't in politics to uphold The Constitution, they're in it for power and personal gain. I bet most of them couldn't even tell you anything about The Constitution without the help and coaching of their staff. They probably don't even know the proper procedures of The House or Senate and they definitely don't even bother reading the text of the bills they vote up or down. They just do what their advisers, who are nothing more than proxies for various lobbyists, tell them to do. This is what happens when you allow professional politicians to exist. Term limits. I'll say it again, term limits.

And don't think Republicans are any different. Sure the window dressing comes in a different color but they are just a different face to the same disease.

The tea party is up to 37% approval rating. I wonder if we started a ticket under their name and put them into some smaller elections. I wonder what the outcome would be?
