This doesn't surprise me. Most of theses jackasses aren't in politics to uphold The Constitution, they're in it for power and personal gain. I bet most of them couldn't even tell you anything about The Constitution without the help and coaching of their staff. They probably don't even know the proper procedures of The House or Senate and they definitely don't even bother reading the text of the bills they vote up or down. They just do what their advisers, who are nothing more than proxies for various lobbyists, tell them to do. This is what happens when you allow professional politicians to exist. Term limits. I'll say it again, term limits.

And don't think Republicans are any different. Sure the window dressing comes in a different color but they are just a different face to the same disease.
