Spike's tactical lowers have 2 threaded holes In The grip mounting block. The one further to the rear is the trigger takeup adjustment. The other is the mounting bolt hole. Both are the same thread and pitch.

If yours does not have 2 threaded holes then like posted above another issue is taking place.
