That's exactly what happened to them. Everybody overlooks leadership till it's gone. Good leadership makes a huge difference. Look at what it did for the Rockies last season. Quite frankly, I've never understood why the highest quality coaches are not paid equal to the highest quality players.

I agree and disagree with your statement. It does take good leadership but I believe the players are the ones physically and mentally working harder deserving more money. Now I do believe that all pro athletes are way over paid.

Anyway, I think the nuggets have had a bad streak due to Karl being sick but also some of our key players have been hurt. Lawson is playing but with a bad shoulder, Kmart out with his knee(hopefully coming back soon), Chris Anderson has a bad ankle and once you're on a losing streak its hard to come back and play good.
