Default what type of rifle case?

I have been looking for a rifle case to fit my bushmaster 20" A2 with carry handle and 50mm scope with 30 rd mag inserted. anyone see such a critter? I know its a tall order with the carry handle and 50mm scope but thought I'd ask anyway.

This just going to and from the range? Or might ya someday take a little trip. I mention this because cases for going to the range/driving down the road are one thing. Once ya start flying to matches it becomes a whole different game. Can I ask why the mag inserted?
I see you running, tell me what your running from

Nobody's coming, what ya do that was so wrong.

When I needed a case for my Varmint rifle I ended up buying a Storm case-the largest one because the rifle was too long and tall for a normal case. That's a 20 rd mag by the way (unloaded). I've also covered travel issues with this type of case-it even has wheels built in

Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.

I just plan on going to the range, prarie dog shoots, coyote hunts, etc. no plans for travel. It's just my personal prefrence to have the mag inserted is all. Dont want to be searchin for that mag before first light on a coyote hunt I guess heck I dunno.

    Default MidwayUSA

Take a look at MidwayUSA's Deluxe rifle/tactical case. I have a couple of them, they're fairly cheap, well made for the money (better than the more expensive Galati that I own), roomy, and padded. With plenty of mag pouches (std 30 rounders fit great).
I think your tall set up would fit fine (maybe not with a mag inserted though).
Storm cases are great but heavy.

for hard case I like either a Storm or Pelican. But for soft case I've become quite sold on the 5.11. I love mine, even more than my blackhawks

+1 on the MidwayUSA. It's cheap but not poorly made, especially if it's just going into the car for range trips etc. I have one and my AR fits fine with a 30 round mag inserted and an EOTech on top with room to spare.
