    Default Latest Paint Job

A member brought me a DPMS Panther in .308. It had previously been done in what I was told was a Brownells product. I'd never seen such a poorly done job before. It looked as if it had been applied with a brush. This is the result of my work. This rifle was done in Krylon, as the owner was planning to sell it anyway.

Looks great. Krylon? The paint you get at the store? Will hold up?

The Krlyon Camo is pretty tough stuff. You can't throw it down your driveway and expect it to hold up, but it does a pretty good job.

Edited to add: When you see pictures of troops and contractors overseas with painted rifles, it is often Krylon. That should give you an idea of it's durability.

Looks really nice. Some day I'm going to do this to one or two of my guns. Can you do poly pistols as well?
