The story goes that history repeats itself. We are now in a part of history that we would rather not repeat. Read the history of the storming of the Bastile by clicking on the site below, which took place on July 14, 1789. We are no longer THE UNITED STATES, but we are America. We are split into by the new administration and new laws they are pushing down our throats. We are not free, we are under a dictatorship. We are taxed to death! We elect people who use OUR money for things WE would never pay for. We still have the vote and we must use it wisely. Politicians say ONLY what they think we want to hear in order to get our vote. Then do as they please once we put our trust in them. Please review the history below and compare our times with those. We are AMERICANS! Let us act like AMERICANS! VOTE AND VOTE WISELY!

The American Revolution as well as the French Revolution have always interested me.
I grew up in Upstate NY. If you ever get over that way,I strongly suggest to go through the Saratoga Battlefield.
