    We just sold a car on craigs list. The scamming is getting bad. They'll usually offer you asking price or even higher but they are never local or are on vacation or some other reason why they can't pick it the car.

    I just sold a car on craigs. I just posted with no contact options but my phone number. No problems with scammers if you leave your email info out of the equation.

    +1 but email contact is alot easier for me. I've never had a problem with scammers on craigslist yet.

    I'm more concerned about the ad... How many things are on order or have been repaired within the last week?
