would you really carry a gun you havent fired?

    i would not. period.

this is a perfect example why, what if it hadnt broke before you loaded it and strapped it on? then you need the firearm to save your life and it goes click, but not bang.

cant help you with parts, sorry

There's only one pin that holds the slide stop lever in place. It's the same pin that holds the trigger in place. It's a serious PITA to get that pin out and back in, so if it "just fell out" I would be highly suspicious of the integrity of the parts associated with that hole: The frame, the lock block, the slide stop, and the pin itself.

It sounds to me someone got overzealous with a hammer during a reassembly. If the hole in the frame is boogered beyond retaining the pin, your frame has to be replaced. All the other parts are replacable at moderate cost, but the pin and block are rare to have on hand by even a unusually prepared glock shooter.

Please tell me you are not using this firearm as a duty weapon.
Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.

If you're with Denver PD (don't know if they got the 40's approved yet or not), have Brad look at it for you. It could be one of the simple parts, and he could have it running in less than 30 minutes. I suspect he has extra parts.

Glad it wasn't some catastrophic failure that cost you (and I aint talking about money), and you got it fixed.
