Dig the old Willy's, my first vehicle was a 48' Willy's CJ2A. Loved the flat head four and flat fenders!Best ride I could have ever had as a kid coming of age in the Rockies. Looked like Hell but damn...what a monster in hills.
You Jeep guys are going to force me to buy another Scout. I'll have to win Powerball this weekend so I'll have the funds to build it the way I really want it with no compromises though.....
Seriously, I wish I had the money to indulge my vehicle building fetish. Your Jeep looks like a great project for a young man.

Looks awesome. Glad to see I'm not the only one in the state with one. Somebody put a Buick v6 in it and everything is a mess... but no rust.
I'm thinking a ford 302, 1 ton axles and 38" tires, painted performance yellow. I'll have to post some pics of my wreck.
It was a gift from my girlfriends terminally ill father. He always wanted to fix it up for moab so he gave it to me so I can do it for him.
