    Default ICEBOX Igloo maker

Came across the ICEBOX Igloo maker while surfing some sites.

Looks like you would need to make several practice igloos after reading instructions and watching the DVD but I'm thinking this would be useful to toss into the vehicle for SHTF. Would take a couple hours to build an igloo based on what I've been reading but still, would be a good shelter/option to have in the winter. Not a quick emergency tool but a survival tool. At $170 it's not cheap but can build a durable shelter in a couple hours...

That's damn cool. I know a friend or two who like to camp in the winter.

Does anyone know if the Pawnee grasslands gets enough snow to build something like that?

Also seems like you could make a pretty sweet hunting blind this way. I don't know enough about hunting to know how practical that is, but I bet it would be comfortable.
