So, you would rather go to a range that won't let you shoot you evil pistol because it's not a pistol caliber but doesn't have a stock, and thinks that a rifle that won't lock the bolt open is too dangerous to be allowed... instead of driving an hour and a half. I never have shot at THAT range, and the chances I will are very very low.
BLGC is about $250 initial fee and about $100 every year after that. Auto's are allowed. There are 11 different berms, and In 6-7 years of being a member I have NEVER had to share a berm unless I was sharing with a fellow competition shooter during a practice session. You can bring and shoot all the evil and misunderstood types of firearms and evil calibers you want and nobody will even bat an eye. Just don't shoot up my plastic 55 gal barrels on berm 5 and you are fine.
