Maybe it is the picture but none of the work looks very symetrical, evenly spaced, or in line. For example the dots along the top edge are not in a straight line, it waves up and down. The scroll work does not evenly get smaller. The left side looks better than the right but still not that great. Made me think of the guy who tried to flute the barrel on his AR15 with a dremel.

Thanks, though the fluting with a dremel comparison is harsh. This isn't intended to be even or traditional scroll work. Appreciate your comment, though.

EDIT: Forgot to ask - Do you engrave? I'd appreciate any tips or tricks you may have.

As a side note, Jerry's Outdoor Sports, in GJ, has a G19, w/a nickle or chrome plated slide, and man...that thing is purdy. It shines just like a mirror!!! BTw, I don't remember the price, but I'm pretty sure that it is less than 500

I have always wanted to learn to engrave metal...
Never thought I'd have the time to get good.
You got balls for going for it - especially on a Glock.
    Any other stuff?

I think it looks really good, especially if You did it free hand? I did some metal carving and stamping awhile back I thought I was pretty good at only thing is I have no imagination when it comes to "thinking" up a design. where did You get the pattern? is it Free hand with punches? Scroll work? or did You use a dermal? If it is punches I think it looks really good Hammer bounce is a #&%^er. I have been looking to redo the snake skin blue pattern I have on my 1911. Nice work!
