Okay, so the Enlightened Progressives want me to depise the rich because of their wealth..

Now, most of these Enlightened Progressives are what I would consider "rich"

I can't say that I despise them because of their wealth.. I despise them more for their ideals..

Am I missing something?

I think they've exempted themselves from the being-hated part, since they were the ones who called on everyone to hate the rich. Sort of like our "elected representatives" opting themselves out of the whole health care thing that they slammed us with.

And if that's what being an "Enlightened Progressive" is, I'm pleased to remain an unenlightened (insert current disparaging description of anyone not a libtard/enlightened progressive here).

They're not included in that, in the same way that they believe socialism has never worked before, but they will make it work..

or maybe they DO know how socialism works, and are looking for a class of people to rule over... nothing like convincing the masses to go along with an idea to enslave themselves...

The way I look at it, it's the "rich" people that pay me,(When I'm working, that is.) Why would I have any cause to resent that?

Just that "progressive" is an over century old, failed philosophy. There is nothing "enlightened" about trying what has failed under a new guise. It's always just stupid, check that, ignorant.
I find it hysterical that the very rich embrace such an philosophy. They are the ones who have to pay the most in that system. they would be better off making huge, tax-deductible donations to help those in need rather than entrusting the government to what needs to be done.
