Default Israel - Merits of Solo Attack on Iran?

Interesting, as we all know "nothing gets tossed into the public domain" unless multiple agendas are at-work. What gives here?

[Israeli] Officials, Seeing Impending Policy Split With U.S., Debate Prospect of a Military Strike Without Washington's Consent

Some senior Israeli officials say in interviews that they see signs Washington may be willing to live with a nuclear-armed Iran, an eventuality that Israel says it won't accept. Compounding Israeli concerns were U.S. statements this past weekend that underscored U.S. resistance to a military option.
A weak, militarily impotent and soon to be globally irrelevant ally in Washington…nah…can’t be? Can it?

I have no problem with the Israelis doing what they need to do. My only fear is, if they get in over their heads the US (under it's current "leadership"...a term used lightly here) won't be there to help them out.

yes, that would be bad, if Hussein left them on thier own.

we need iran to to stop destabalizing the world.

lets see, syria, lebanon, iraq, all controlled by (or would be if we werent there). chavez is emboldened by another loser in power.

for the sake of global stability, we need to eliminate irans nuclear and long range missles.

we also need to eleminate thier nuclear threat, because nobdody likes nuclear winter.

I'm on Israels side... period. If they decide to pave over the ME and build a Walmart... more power to 'em.

Obozo on the other hand... Lord help us if he doesn't take a stand.

I tried researching it on Janes a while ago, the first time I saw a picture of it. I got almost nothing. Best guess is it's either additional sensor suites (visible/infrared/radar/lidar) or it's additional counter measures.

For comparison, look at the top of the fuselage in this picture:
