Food for thought:

I always use a credit card or cash at restaurants or places where my card has to leave my eye sight. Had a lot of fraud investigators tell me to do this. THe reason being as the credit card is the bank's money, your debit card is YOUR money. Let the bank lose their money through fraud, they will do whatever it takes to get their money back. They don't care about your money when you lose it.
