    Angry Mother#*%^£r!!!!!

    I'm such a f%#^*ng idiot!!!

Anybody know of a fix for this?

Of all the lowers I've done (RRA, DPMS, Oly) it had to be the damn Colt that broke.

Colt makes theirs harder so in turn are a little more brittle. The only thing I know how to do is find someone that can weld Aluminum. Or send it back to Colt. I feel for ya man But unfortunately it happens.

dang that sucks buddy! I'll give you $10 for it!

as to the fix, maybe JB weld?

or someone who is really good at fixing aluminum. I think their is a very well known guy on arfcom that has fixed some full auto stuff as well for guys (very trusted).

or you can buy a Magpul MIAD full kit and use the integrated trigger guard as I think that will cover it up.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

Have not personally used but..... Maybe just what the doctor ordered, a $30 fix?

Good luck, I will ask my gunsmith tomorrow about a permanent fix.

It happens quite abit without the trigger guard in place to keep it from flexing in they snap pretty easy You are not the first one it has happened to if it makes you feel any better I dropped one just right on the vise one day and it snapped and another guy on here did the same thing I did not to long ago.

I thought about welding it up myself but I don't have much experience with small parts. Pisses me off that it had to be a Colt, every other lower seems to be easy to find. I'll probably give Colt a call and see if there's anything they can do for me. Thanks for the help guys
