Construction began on the new facility in early June 2013. It is constructed of precast concrete and so the exterior of the building should be up by the end of July at the latest. Initiation fees are 30% off right now and we are offering 10% off on dues for those who pay the full year in advance. Individual, Couple, Family and Group memberships are available. Full cost of the facility is north of $10 million. Having said that, we think that $29.95 a month for unlimited usage of the range would be a good value for most shooters. Website is www.gunstorecentennial.com. BTW, to OP, I apologize for the way your request was handled and would be happy to try and make it right. We try hard to offer enhanced customer service and it sounds like we dropped the ball this time. As an aside, I am involved with this facility and am happy to answer any questions or receive any feedback you may have. Thanks!

I've been to CGC a few times now. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the range has great ventilation. Probably not the cheapest place in town, but I enjoy the cleanliness and overall atmosphere. The range master has always been very friendly, and taking plenty of time to answer all my stupid questions.

I have been looking into joining here, just wanting to make sure the fees for a family membership would be worth it.

I joined when the store and the small range first opened. I've since "suspended" my membership until they get the main facility opened. The range is nice and well ventillated, the people are friendly, but I still feel like I was mislead. Because they've sold so many memberships, it's difficult to get in on a spur of the moment basis. They were very nice to let me put my membership on hold, and I appreciate that, but I'm pretty impatient for them to get the main range open. CGC is worth the $$, just not until the main range is done, and they've not even broken ground on it.

I am thinking of joining. My wife won't go that often and was thinking of getting the Individual Plan with the 6 passes for her. I was told you get 6 each year, I'll verify when I go down there. I have been in a few times to look over the merchandise and it is crowded, but it's also very close and would like a range to take my AR too along with the pistols I am starting to collect

Too bad the initiation went up from $173 to $242. Any recent visits by members? The match seems worth it if you go twice a month

Was in earlier this week for an hour in the evening. For about 30 minutes only one other lane out of six was in use. Reserving a lane is super simple using their online system. You can book a lane for an hour 6 days in advance. From what I've learned, a plan pass is only good for one hour, but I'd check with the store to be sure as reservation rules are not really outlined anywhere. It is convenient, climate controlled and you can shoot after dark, but you will eventually want to supplement your CGC membership with an outdoor longer range facility if you can afford it. With all the legislative crap going on in Colorado in I'm not holding my breath for the new building any time soon.

Thanks. I'll go visit them this weekend and probably sign up. It is just up the street from me so it would be real easy to slip away and have some fun for an hour or so

I stopped by the Centennial Gun Club today and they informed me that they have worked out everything with the city and that their bank is putting the finical package together now and should be done and ready to go any day now. I was told they will have a total of 28 firing points (currently have 6). We shall see....

This is what we have all been hearing for the last month and a half. Hopefully they have been able to secure financing. That has been the last hurdle and frankly that makes me the most nervous as a member who paid the full year up front. If they can't get approved and get good terms then I don't know what we'll do other than moan and groan on money wasted. We bought our membership based on being told ground breaking was any day now.

This was posted shorty after we signed up, which is not the same as "breaking ground any day now": http://blog.centennialgunclub.com/bl...acility-update
