oh they can vote, and they did...along with the pimps and hoes who were offered locations for brothels, homeless people paid to vote multiple times etc. oh, and lets not forget the census that the illegals can take part of as well.

There are several illegals who come here to work hard, earn money, send it back to their families or do the right thing. unfortunately those hard working people still came across the border the wrong way. illegal is illegal. If they want to apply for citizenship *and get approved*, pay back taxes, mandatory requirement to learn English and swear allegiance to this country, not shit on our flag or hang it upside down when cinco de mayo rolls around each year, then i am more that happy to have those people here and welcome them to the American dream.

the other problem is you have the lazy fucks that have anchor babies, rape the health care system (which we pay for with higher premiums), rape the auto industry (which we pay for with higher insurance policies for uninsured motorists), destroy the police and legal systems because they have no accountability with law enforcement, and they don't show up to the court system.

not to mention those who still believe they are in mexico and pillage and rape and murder. I just watched fox news and the Sheriff of one of the border counties in AZ was on defending the bill...he said they have an atrocious amount of these types of crimes and it is almost entirely due to illegal immigrants.

As far as conservative, sure there are several of them that are, but the largest number of them seem to lean toward liberal views hoping to get something for nothing, catch a handout, not be required to work hard for their keep. Obama promises them amnesty so they love him for it. he opposes the AZ law and they love him for it.


I got an email from a teacher that said she did a election is class.
the kids picked who their 2 candidates were, 1 boy, 1 girl. the boy, with help from his parents talked about the hard work the class could do to get everything done, learn a lot, still have fun, and he had a plan to get this accomplished.
the girl simply said "I will give you ice cream". she didn't know how, neither did the students. nobody knew who was going to pay for it, when they would get it or how they would get it, all anyone knew is they were promised ice cream. she won.

that is how obama won, he promised everyone health care, he promised not to raise taxes on about 90-95% of all Americans, he promised to end our wars and bring our troops home, he made a lot of promises without really saying how we was going to get it accomplished...he won.

now he is saying the same thing....in this video he just speaks out to his direct audience, the ones he is promising to cater to, and try to get them to keep by his side. hopefully they have learned enough by now that he is full of shit and things aren't really as simple as "free ice cream".

The best way to make ourselves secure from terrorists entering the country is to make sure we can stop them from using the border-hopping mechanism to enter. We know they've tried to enter through Canada, but one was intercepted at the border by an alert BP officer.

We have huge amounts of sensing gear on the border with Mexico, long range infrared cameras, seismic monitors, helicopter patrols, fence and patrol roads. The problem is there are so many coming across that we can't intercept them all. Coyotes will dump many people out at the same time, so that some will make it through.

So the solution is to stop having people enter the country illegally in such huge waves that we can't stop it. If the only people trying to run the border were terrorists, then the resources we have on the border would be better work. We'd catch a much higher percentage.

The same problem exists for smuggling. We worry about what could happen if someone smuggles in NBC materials. We are spending billions on scanners for cargo containers to try and reach 100%. Radiation detectors are being placed around cities to create virtual nuclear "fences." Yet every day how many tons of Marijuana comes over the border from Mexico? How many pounds of coke and whatever other drugs? The smugglers keep innovating solutions. The sheer volume makes human and signals intelligence a nightmare, right? What if terrorists decide to build a semi-submersible to bring their payload in, because they learned from the drug cartels.

Maybe I just read too many Tom Clancy and Neal Stephenson books.
