Years ago, 1982 in fact I was helping a young lady I knew from High school move some of her stuff up to Ft. Collins to go to school. As we were returning home down I-25, We rolled past what I would assume was some type of MOPAR club.. 6, and I do mean 6 1970 Plymouth Superbirds.. All just cruising down the highway.. I have a picture of one of them.

ETA: In case the youngins are clueless..

I went to take pictures of a house for the insurance company the other day and they had a yellow Lambo Countach sitting in the driveway underneath a tarp. The tarp had a bunch of wood and other crap stored on it.

Also Marlin, I've recently driven by some old car that has a tall wing like that super bird in our area.

    Marlin,

No kidding talk about a rare bird you are hard pressed to even find one of those for sale these days.

    Clublights,

Yes I agree with you 100% I had the Lamborghini Countach poster with "pure sex" on the license plate on my wall for years as a kid growing up. To bad it's minus the rear spoiler in the picture. That car will always have a special place in my heart! Nothing like 12 cylinder Italian H.P to get your heart pumping!

when I first saw this thread I thought no way is that purple thing worth a quarter mil.

then I did some looking, one went for 2.2 mil at auction.

maybe it would be worth it to mortgage the house to buy it.

Color matching wheels on a Honda and you're a ricer (you are), but do it on a car and wait 50 years and you're in the money!

The Wing does add sexyness to the car but also slowed it down ( and was a 5000 buck add on .. tho most cars left the factory with it anyways ) The car was APX 20mph faster without the wing and didnt need the downforce anyways
