I'm glad you're oik, but why do you bring this up 1 1/2 months before I turn 40?

Especially when that's the # you put in there!!

    I think I feel a mid-life crisis coming...

My dad has had 3 heart attacks, the first one he drove to the hospital and parked on the wrong side, had to walk clear through the hospital. He actually went down at some point luckily they were able to revive him. He put it off and didnt want to even go. His next 2 he called 911 and me right away. He did alot of partying in his younger days, has always been overweight and has NEVER been physically active.

Glad you are doing ok, when in doubt call!

Glad your organs are doing well. I'm curious about what you need to change though. Is the lining of the lung issue a result of a bad diet? I wasn't real clear on that.

Yeah, so God Bless LightFighter.Net .. there's a whole massive thread for older fat guys like me (granted I'm only 25lbs over weight) and I think as soon as I'm able to move around without getting the free albeit momentary buzz, I'm going to start a rucking routine. Gonna get the better half out there too.

What's driving me to change up stuff is that I've become too sedentary. I work, come home, and just seem to push through the daily and weekly grind. I am looking at things differently now! Going to make more time to play with the kids, get out and start walking, then rucking.. with the dogs and family. Going to make damn sure, I tell all of the kids and my better half that I love them a bunch more than I already do. I'm going to (as soon as allowed) to start doing more than just being a home body, even if it's just going to the mountains or a city park and get out side more!

Thanks for the well wishes guys, just had to tell the damn story to someone! OK i'm telling it to everyone

I went to Wikipedia AND Google to find out what "rucking" means. So far I'm not convinced that you are going to go out to the park to play rugby, start a prison fight, or try to fold yourself. So what does that mean exactly.

I believe "rucking" is a splelunkers term for hiking/exploring with a rucksack/backpack.... Please correct me if I am wrong.
