Default Customer at Omaha Walgreens Shoots Armed Robber

It's interesting to see what happens when an armed criminal scumbag comes up against an armed law-abiding citizen. One criminal shot dead, the other held at gunpoint until Police arrive to make arrest of the criminal not at room temperature, and then cite the armed citizen with a misdemeanor: http://www.peoplespresscollective.or...-armed-robber/.

Good for him! Good for him being effective in a bad situation. It's a shame he's being charged for not having a permit, I know it's the law...it's a bad law.

glad he got one of em!
the bullshit misdemeanor is a slap in the face, hopefully those who he helped save will chime in and the charge will get dropped.

They should change the law, not drop the charge.

Pedestrian in West Chicago Shot by Armed Robber

These law enforcement and city attorneys should be grateful of armed citizens who fight back!!!!!

    Very nice sarcasm!

I agree - this guy saved the taxpayers and the courts from getting jammed up with a criminal case against BG #1. I guess the city will use the money he saved them from BG#1's trial and apply it to HIS trial! Bad law!

Agreed. If this isn't reason enough for adopting Vermont Carry, I don't know what is...

Update: Douglas County Attorney will not be filing any charges against the Hero. He said, Mr. McCullough's use of dadly force was appropriate and justified.

    Win for the good guys!

Any loss of life is regrettable, but in this scenario, it was much better than the alternative.

If you value your life, don't walk into Walgreens and point a shotgun at a stranger.
