I'd also like to make the point that I feel that for the most part our immigration laws are fine just the way that they are. You have to prove that you are able to sustain yourself for a reason. Despite that sign we have that says we'll take your poor, hungry, and tired (or whatever it says), that doesn't mean that we will accept your criminal, lazy, or any other burden you might be running from.
