I'm about 20 miles south east of Pueblo. Mid 80's yesterday with shingle stripping wind. Today, about 50 wind still howling like a striped-ass baboon. This sucks.
Observations I've made about Colorado weather: very unpredictable in springtime, also in the fall.. as seasons change, it's like it can't make up it's mind..
also, when you have a sudden burst of wind, it's usually followed by a significant change in weather.. the stronger the wind, the bigger the change
I thought Alaska had unpredictable weather- (And parts do, but now I realize it's mostly just complicated and severe) here it's unpredictable at times
Here's what they say here in Colorado....
"If you don't like the weather, just wait ten minutes!"
80's and sunny in the morning and rain, hail, tornadoes and snow by nightfall.
Gotta love Colorado.... I know I do!

I'm a Colorado native. I've never been anywhere else where the weather patterns are so schizophrenic. The seasons here have a real problem with their identity.
Woke up to a dusting, bright sun came out made it all wet, now heavy clouds with sun trying to pop out again....
I've been many places where they TRY to say that- places in Alaska did, too. But here they mean it..
it's not just change, it's the locality of it... I've been riding along a highway with partly cloudy skies, and there's literally a LINE across the road where one side is dry, other side is soaked... and sometimes you can still see the storm- other times I can't even tell where it came from
it sure makes for interesting riding, though!
