Default no addition to my b.o.b.

Went to wally mart, and picked up a crossman sling shot aka wrist rocket. $6.00 of my weekly $30.00 allowance, and I am all smiles.Figured it would be a good addition to the bug out bag in my pickup, it is light weight, cheap, ammo is free, and suprisingly accurate. Just got finished skinning the rabbit I shot in the front yard. My 2 year old daughter got a kick out of petting a sleeping bunny, but momma is up my ass to say the least.

Good idea, I should dig mine out of the garage and dust it off. I got one for my kid but I think I have more fun than with it than he does. Get a pair of the stiffer black bands for a little more power. Ahh the memories.

I've been meaning to get one of those for several years to take along with me when I go hunting. I can definitely see the advantages of adding one to my B.O.B. These are relatively quite but very effective at close range.

I would, however, add a durable bag (like a little leather pouch) of the manufactured steel shot. There may be times when you can't find a natural item that would server as effective ammo. I'd also recommend at least one set of extra bands.

RABBIT?!!!!! I had no idea they could get something that large. I think I will pick on up tomorrow and give it a go. I have a few squirrels that get into the garbage and drive me nuts. they are tuff little bastards though a blow gun might be in order.

I picked one up a while ago from the Navy Surplus store and the stupid piece of crap can't even get a rock across the street. What brand did you buy? I want one that works.

EDIT: Crossman I see. I'll have to check that out. Thanks for the post.

I bought a bb gun for that and the neighbors didn't like that so I went to Home Depot and got a trap. I have caught one everyday for the past two weeks. I then euthanize (it sounds so much more professional then kill, lol) them.

    You are a horrible person!

Instead of killing those poor little bunnies and squirrels, you should "donate" them to your neighbor's yard, garage, open basement window, etc.
