    Default Bargin Jeep?

This is the Jeep that one of the members sold to my son for $400. You may remember at first he wanted to trade if for a gun.

Well, my son bought it. He was told it may have a blown head gasket. When it ran, radiator fluid would gush out. As we have started removing parts, we've discovered that many of the bolts were real lose and at least one missing gasket. He's just rebuilding the whole engine.

It may be that someone started to fix it and quit and through it back together. Hard to say for sure.

    Anyways, it's a fun progect.

There's something about wrenching on a Jeep. I replaced the engine and rebuilt the rest of the drivetrain on the '93 Cherokee that I just inherited back from my dad. While I was doing that I replaced the radiator and did about 900 other little things to it to the point that even though the odometer read 209k, it was almost new mechanically. It's a lot of fun and I don't mind running it places I'd never take the Tundra.

I did too.....until I started doing it for 50-60hrs a week. Don't really mind it throught the week, I just don't like doing it on my free time anymore. I had planned on restoring a 67 Nova but I know it'll just sit in the garage for who knows how long so I let a co-worker take it off my hands. We'll just see if that new Z28 ever comes around

One thing about the Jeeps, getting the oil pan off is a bitch!
I can't believe more than a dozen people have ever done it
