    So would these guys eat your cat if you had one? I don't think I've heard of people in the mountains having house cats that spend a lot of time outside.

    I don't know about the cat eating (Hey, I that it was Alf who did that),

    but if you've never heard a fox cry out, you're certainly missing something - it sounds like a terrified woman being victimized.

    I occasionally hear coyotes by my place, and saw one on Friday in Federal Heights (I pulled over to take a picture, but it ran away).

    We have a few around here, but have not seen any black ones.

    Yep, they make some pretty trippy sounds. Took me a few nights to figure that one out .

    When we lived in Florida the cats would occasionally bring frogs into the house. They sound like a baby screaming when they're being carried around in a cat's mouth.

    My daughter is a vet tech in an animal ER. Some people found a black fox kit about the end of March with its foot caught in a pipe. They brought it into the ER where they treated it and then turned it over to Wildlife. If I can figure out how I will post a pic.
