    Default ebay sucks

ebay sucks. they charge alot for listings and final value fees. i now also find out that a seller (me) cant leave negative feedback for a buyer.
a guy buys 3 of my auctions for elk ivory, shipping is listed as $4 for each auction. it states in the auction that i combine shipping. he wins the 3 auctions for minimum bid or slightly higher. i ship all three auctions together and charge him $8 for shipping. $4 for the first one and $2 for each additional. he emails me about a week after he gets them, and tells me that i should refund some money because the postage was only $1.56. i respond with yes the shipping was $1.56, but i also had to buy the mailer ($1.69), and drive half hour to the post office and stand in line.
a few weeks go by and i look at my feedback rating, the asshole left me 3 negative feedbacks. OK fine, i will leave him negative feedback, but wait ebay wont let a seller leave negative feedback. so a buyer can wait weeks to pay, and if they dont like anything you have said, done, or otherwise, they can leave you negative feedback and you cant even respond!

Could've stopped right there. Old news.

What's funny to me is that a seller is explicit on instructions and prices, yet the buyer still trys to argue and get something out of it for less or free. I stopped using ebay a long time ago.

... craigslist I guess. Not sure, I usually sell to friends, give it to goodwill, or take it to the dump.

Can you leave a response attached to each feedback?

    Default Shipping

When I ship...I usally purchase postage from Paypal...I get a free delivery confirmation, then I make sure the postage label I print does not show postage fee! You gotta outsmart the bastards in this world...plus the mailman/woman will pick up the item at the mailbox. I only go to the post office for customs or special delivery items.

See if you can file a grievance with Ebay, usually they will do something. I am a big fan of Ebay's liberal policies at all, but I have usually had good luck with them otherwise.

I like buying things on ebay but as for selling, I don't want to even try because of the massive fees.

it also seems like most people overcharge a lot on shipping to help cover the fees they incur.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.
