I say it seems fishy but who knows, it's your property so the ball is completely in your court. If you don't feel right about it just tell him sorry no deal chief.

He didn't offer me any more money. But in the same respect he didn't really try to negotiate either. Most things I have ever sold be it here or somewhere else I always get the "What is your bottom dollar?" Or "would you take $50 less?" Now come to think of it we never really mentioned price untill I asked him if he agreed on the price. Maybe he figured he better not try and negotiate seeing as how he already asked me to hold them for a week.
Damn it glock21! Now you have me all phukin paraniod.

My supposed email in reply:
"Thank you for your interst in my Ap-9. The legal limit for handgun purchase in the state of Colorado is 18 for a FTF transaction and 21 if you happen to go through a dealer. Also, you need to be in possession of a Colorado Drivers liscence. Do you have a Colorado DL? A Bill of Sale may also be required to ease my conscience and to have on record in case any future matters involving said firearm arise.
Unfortunately, I will not sell a firearm to an individual who doesn't know how to complete a sentence or use punctuation, as this shows a lack of education, respect, and self worth, regardless if it's a colloquial email or text. Do you file reports to your superiors in this fashion?
In essence and conclusion, I will not be selling my firearm to you. I apologize for wasting your time. Thank you for your service.
Sincerely,
Bob
Upon second reading that does sound really harsh... but I still stand by it. I know not everyone uses collegiate level English in speaking and writing. Lord knows I do not when I get excited and my Southern drawl and colloquialisms start to come out. However, people should at least know how to complete a sentence, use punctuation, capitalization, etc.
I guess I will at least be a man of my word and meet with him. I really don't like backing out after agreeing to meet someone. I had it happen to me too many times, and boy does it ever burn may ass when some clown wastes my time. I should know after 5:00 pm. today and will update in this thread.
Bunch of paranoid! The guy wants to secure a sales and offered more. Big deal.. I have done the same.. and I purchased certain things that I see good deals on an instant, without haggling. Cheap paranoid bastards!

OK - not to be a ninny here but: license.
If we are going there... let's go all the way.

Big Rgr on that. Thanks for the catch. I always seem to have some problems with certain words like "license", "sarcasm", and a few others. I type "purty darn fast" and sometimes when I am in a rush and not thinking through things, they accidently get put into different cultural spellings such as colors being colours and license being liscense, etc. My bad.![]()
