I guess the only thing I can do is ask for his ID's as suggested. Just the same as when I have bought and sold from many on here with good feedback. But just because you have good feedback on a forum doesn't mean you aren't a little off your rocker. I mean I really don't know any of you. Who is to say that the guy on here with the longest positive feedback thread won't one day lose it and mow down a small town using all the firearms he purchased from everyone here. Oh well EVERYTHING in life is always a gamble. I guess I'll meet with the guy if he seems like a flake I'll walk.

How did he go about offering you more money?

I've offered extra money to cover driving inconveniences or to beat out other prospective buyers...

or was he just like "hey i know you want $400, but I'll give you $450 just because!"

because I have to admit, that is rather odd.

But other than that, I'd say meet up with him, get a feel for his character, and make your decision.

Yes, your "gut" instinct is usually a good thing to listen to.

But I've noticed alot of sellers have their "gut" influenced by fear of the ATF, rather than a legitimate concern about the buyers credibility/legality.

Just be aware you don't mix up the two.

Go with your gut. From a purely logical perspective, what is the difference between him wanting to buy 3 guns now, and him wanting to buy 3 guns in a few months?

Also, perhaps he offered more money just to help over come your unease of selling to someone under 21. Again, just go with your gut though, since I'm only speaking from what you've written. I'm not saying "go for it" by any means.

He then offers me 50 dollars more then im asking, im like sweet more money hahaha then i give him my number to text me when he gets back in to town.
he text me today saying he is the guy wanting to by my megastar and firestar, i tell him wrong guy i have the ap9, he says oh he got the emails mixed up but that he was just gona text me about my ap9.

ive seen the post on here for the firestar and mega star from su405, so i pm su405 and ask a question about it, turns out su405 is a little concerned aout the deal also,
why would a 20yr old want to buy 3 hand guns in 2 days and offer more then the owner is asking, maybe im putting to much thought into it but it seems weird,
when i ask if some one 21 and older can buy it from me to ease my concerns he says never mind.
what r your guys thoughts on it, or has anyone dealt with him and maybe hes just a collecter like most of us. thanks for reading.

I was all for selling all three guns to him from the both of you until I saw he's offering more than asking price. I order all the Pepsi Products on Fort Carson, and they do blow their money when they get back. I've seen soldiers come in and buy $50 in Rockstar energy drinks because they haven't had any in a year. I saw a guy who got back from Iraq buy a $3,000 t.v. a PS3 and an Ipod touch in one trip.

He said since he wasn't dead he's going to have fun.

Him offering more money though would make me not sell to him. too strange.

Im also curious how he went about offering more money...

Personally I would NOT do the sale. There are tons of red flags flying over this one. Maybe if these were really desirable/hard to find guns I would understand throwing a few extra bucks in to seal the deal if the demand is high, but just throwing an extra 50 bucks at you because you talked to him? Just weird...
