    Question - is there a laser range finder that can measure that distance with less than a 5 yard error?

    Using my previous data (250gr SMK) the danger area for that shot at 2700 yards is only about 10 yards for a 1/2 human torso shot.

    Another point.

    The rounds would have gone subsonic around 2000 yards.

    this one is +/- 5 yds and accureate to 10K m on a stationary hard target, designates and ranges moving targets to 5K m. A bit heavy, but syill carried by FO/TAC-P teams for designating guided munitions.
