    At about 0:26 into Video 4 you see the Brit's. Are those real firearms they're carrying? They sure don't look like it.

    And then right after the 82nd Airborne is a unit from France. I wonder how much I could get one of their rifles for. I'm sure it would be unfired and I expect not to have much difficulty talking the guy out of it since they tend to give them up so readily.

    I have a 1916 French Berthier on my wall, been dropped twice but unsure if it was ever fired...

    Just kidding, my grandmother was French and fought in the underground, killed Germans and collaborators alike, used mostly captured German and US weapons. Some great stories, I recall one where she stole the windows out of a German barracks because they needed them for the winter. Germans opened up on her as she rode away on her bike with a window under one arm. This at 15 years old.

    I hope my kids never have to experience that life.

    As a young RECON MARINE,,we studied Soviet doctrine,vehicles,aircraft.
    During May Day,vehicles ,tanks,missile carriers,ect ect were outlined along the edges with white.{mostly back in '80s}

    I've never heard of that practice. What does it mean?

    Just seemed like a parade thing. Like old white M1 Garands used in parades.

    That's their SA-80 rifle, but it looks like there's a cover over the hardmounted SUSAT sight.
