Sometimes I feel like a moron for bothering to follow the rules at all. If I were a crooked executive, or a greedy politician, or any sort of welfare parasite (this category includes illegal aliens), I do believe I would be better off materially...

It seems to me that everybody but the middle class knows that the rules of society are a joke meant to be bent, broken, and taken advantage of.

My wife was with BofA when we first married and put me on all her accounts before I had an SS#. To their credit, they did ask me for it until I explained I hadn't got one, but it was about two years before they called me again and asked if I had one yet.

That's because we are the ones who were raised with morals and ethics.

mine was several years ago- trying to do a refi, but it's a PITA with acreage- many banks just don't want to do it...

it's not a farm, I don't rely on any of the land for income, but some just won't do it...

I've read horror stories about people making their payments on their mortgage, then BofA forgetting it happened and demanding they pay (again).

It gets cleared up, they finally realize they did get paid....until it happens again the next month. And the month after that. And so on.
