Great! So now instead of spending $1 trillion on the war on drugs, we can spend another trillion(that we don't have)on the hearts and flowers approach that won't f*cking work either....This week President Obama promised to "reduce drug use and the great damage it causes" with a new national policy that he said treats drug use more as a public health issue and focuses on prevention and treatment.![]()
I love the how guberment always says it's gonna take time to see results but we need the money now. I know it's going to take time but an indefinite timetable is a flimsy way out in my book. We need to hold politicians to what they say and when they say it will be done, not some it may work at some point to be determined shit. If you haven't met your goal in the time you specified then you failed that's it. Securing the border and ports would help a lot more I imagine.
The government should spend the same amount of money trying to prevent drug use as it does trying to cure diabetes. So next to nothing.

Let the CIA run the drug war. After they put out a few tons of poisoned cocaine, heroin and meth and the users start dropping like flies, the demand will miraculously dry up.
I'm good with that!
