School attacks in China

I tried to title this thread something that will be easily searchable in the future.

So what is going on with all these attacks in China on school children? I haven't seen any threads about this yet, but there have been at least five attacks of middle aged men walking onto elementary schools and either hacking or bludgeoning young (kindergarten) school kids to death. This latest the land lord killed 9 people with a knife. 7 kids, their teacher and her mother. Here is one article, and I suppose you can look up the rest, but what the heck is going on here? Really surprised there hasn't been a thread about this yet since it's been going on since March.

Since the first in the recent spate of atrocities took place on March 23, when a man stabbed eight children to death outside an elementary school in southeastern China, the authorities have ordered the police and paramilitary troops to patrol schools. They also ordered news outlets to use only the official, terse accounts of the killings provided by the Xinhua news agency, and have kept the news off broadcast television almost entirely.

According to the local government’s account, Wu Huanming, 48, stormed into the school just after 8:20 a.m. He used a cleaver to slash the school’s administrator and teacher, Wu Hongying, 50, and a student standing by her side, killing them both. He then hacked at 18 pupils.

In total, 17 have died and nearly 100 others have been wounded in the five attacks since March.

Clearly the schools in china need to be made cleaver free zones.

when someone snaps, they'll use whatever weapon they can get... someone could go a on killing spree with a golf club..
