    Default building silhouettes

have a friend that is having trouble finding the specs to build his own silhouettes. He is looking for mostly Blackpowder, but also wants for rim fire and high powered rifle, Does anyone know where to find the official specs for these. size, thickness of metal, just everything, thanks

Probably going to have a real hard time find spec's for this. Most companies making steel targets don't like to release proprietary information that will adversely effect their profit margins.

Also, that's quite a range of steel specs. High power rifle steel targets are very touchy. I've seen 300 Win Mag rounds cut through half inch steel targets like butter at 600 yds. Even AR plate isn't going to stand up to that level of abuse. BP, 22s, most pistol rounds, all pretty simple to do with 1/2" AR plate. I've heard it's a bitch to cut that stuff though and should be done with a plasma cutter.
Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.

Anyone that thinks war is good is ignorant. Anyone that thinks war isn't needed is stupid.

3/8 AR-500 is what you want.

When you say silhouettes, do you mean silhouettes like Chicken, Pig, Turkey and Ram?

AR is easily cut with a torch or plasma.

You bring the steel and the patterns, I'll cut it for you.
