Thank you for the positive input. I just joined the site and was happy to see that some folks have been stopping into our shop. As the shop's owner what I can guarantee you is the lowest prices in the state. If you see a price that looks high or if you have seen it lower somewhere else in the state, I will beat it.

We have a unique approach to the gun industry. We own our own 300 acre range. We have a demo model of every gun in our store including the very high power rifles. If you can't decide which long gun or hand gun is right for you, come to our range and try them all out until you find the best fit.

We will have pistol, rifle, and very high power range days every month. We also teach concealed carry, combative pistol, combative rifle, In Home/Out of Home Defense, self-defense, reloading and high power shooting at our range.

We are certified gunsmiths and smith all makes and models.

Our web site is almost complete; it is being updated daily. Keep checking out the calendar for upcoming events. If you want private our group lessons, give us a call and we will accommodate your needs

Welcome Tim. Thank you for the nice intro - very informative, except...

Help a brother out, where are you located?

ETA: Disregard, just saw the link posted by MB888. I've heard about your shop and have been meaning to come in and check out you place and speak with you (I wanted to solicit for $$ donations to the Pikes Peak Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation... we are having our annual Big Game Banquet on Saturday).

I still need to come in and check out your store. I know you are in a rough neighborhood at night, but a 300 acre range? That must span across Platte Ave. from your front door; eh?! <I kid!>

Well, I stopped by Bravo Arms on Thursday afternoon.

The first thing I need to mention is that it is located on the East side of Union between Pikes Peak and Platte Avenues (more precisely, it's located between Pikes Peak Ave and Kiowa St. - right between the U.S. Judo Associates and Lorig's.

The best way to get to where you can park (parking in the rear) is to use the alley by accessing it from either Pikes Peak Ave or Kiowa St.

Now, this store doesn't have anywhere near the square footage that Specialty Sports has, but for the space they have, it has a LOT of products squeezed in with enough room to easily move around and check things out. I was floored by the number of magazines for everything from AR's (the whole gamut from G.I. to Magpul), Mini-14, Glock, XD/XD(M), Sig, Browning HP, etc. they have in stock. In fact, they've got a great selection of firearms as well. (okay, okay. I didn't see any products from LaRue Tactical, but I could have easily missed them.)

Even better than their selection is that you don't get all of that nasty attitude like you do at Specialty Sports. I spoke at length with Tim, the owner, and found him to be a truly pleasant and knowledgable guy to deal with. I definitely got the impression that this store is a dream come true for him and he wants to do what is right for the customer.

This initial visit was simply for recon. I didn't have any money to buy anything (Hey, I'm married; when do I ever have any money?). What I wanted to know was where the store was located, what their selection of products was like, and what type of service one could expect. I came away with all of my answers and am happy to report that this is a place all firearms enthusiast's should check out.

I have to save my pennies for a while because I've got a list of items I plan to pick up on my next visit.
