I think this is the modern day Mad Max car: http://www.local-motors.com/rallyFighter.php

$50k, but you get to go help them build it yourself

Not bad besides that gay ass cowboy mural on the side.

Seriously though after reading over the specs I'd rather have this.

You get the customize the look of your own, but yeah it's pricey. I figure a lot of the value comes from getting to build your own.

If I'm gonna live in the Rockies I'd go with a Rubicon since a stock one will get over more of the trails than the Ford. In the desert though, a Pre-runner configured F-150 or Toyota FJ would be sweet.

I liked the FJ's when they first came out.

But now it seems if I step outside and throw a rock the chances of me hitting one are pretty good. Same with a Jeep.

But they are both very capable vehicles.

Did you see the videos Ford did where they entered that new model F-150 into the Baja 1000? I think that's where this picture came from. They basically ran a nearly stock truck, IIRC

    Hoosier

I've watched so many vids on this truck and read so many articles/reviews it coud be possible that I've seen them. I just read that they will also be making a run in crew cab.

That gay a$$ cowboy you speak of appears to be Teddy Roosevelt in his Rough Riders gear.
