If y'all like the place, that's fine! Glad it works for ya. Meself, I'll stick with BLGC, even though it's nearly an hour drive from Parker, and it seems I can rarely get out there. Don't ever have to deal with a "firing line" except at the 600 yd. high power range, and there's no range officers, and damn sure no gangbangers. I've never had to shoot next to anybody else, except on the HP range, and that was only once.

BLGC is a nice place, but again, 90+ minute drive for me, in southern Aurora, the last few miles of which is on unmarked dirt road.

    +1 BLGC

I live in Denver and it takes me about 1hr 15 to get there, I leave about 7am on saturday head home about noon. I like it because I really feel like I have left the city, dont really get that at the family shooting center at cherry creek. I have also had them man handle some of my hand made blackpowder guns. They do have a guy you cant miss him beard down to his belt buckle that is a pool of knowledge in the blackpowder world. He really helped me out alot getting started BP shooting.

I've never been charged by the hour at Green Mountain, because there has never been a line before. They've always had that policy as well.

I was making a statement that in today's environment where it seem ot at a range that may or may not be open, Its kind of nice that you can got to Cherry creek where the range statuses are on the website and they are a decent range.
Agreed-I actually took my NRA Instructor Courses about 16 years ago with the owner and he runs a well organized and safe range. I don't always agree with some of the RSO's but I don't always agree with anybody. Glad you had a good day there
