New rule: Any links copied from craigslist must have the contents quoted as well so poor Bear (security blocks at work) can partake in the finger pointing and laughing!

Somebody stole all of my camping gear. A couple of weeks ago I left my car in the goss grove area of Boulder and I believe my car was broken into and my camping gear was taken. I went camping with some friends and since we were car camping I just tossed my gear into the car without my backpack. When I cam back I started to load up my girlfriends car with my camping stuff and she asked that since my car was parked at the house that I put my gear in my car. I took all of my stuff and loaded into my backpacking backpack. I hopped in my gf's car and thought nothing of it. My mistake was that I might have left my car unlocked. I left my car for a couple of days and returned later to find my car (although I wasn't aware of it at the time) without my backpack. About a week ago I was looking for something out of my backpack and noticed that it was not in my car. I thought nothing of it as it cvould be a number of places and I thought it must be in my Gf's car. Today I started looking again and I cannot find my backpack. I pieced this story together and this seems to be the most plausible answer. The Items that I am missing are as follows:

A well used Blue and black Lowe Alpine backpacking backpack,
    in the backpack:

    A mountain Hardware Bivvy Sac
A Black diamond khacki and magenta beta lightweight tent.
a Big Agnes purple inflatable sleeping pad.
    An Orange therma-rest sleeping pad
other odds and ends that are not of much value

Please Help me. In the last seven days I have lost my job, aquired a really bad cough, cold and fever, crashed my bike breaking the front rim as well as spraining my ankle and wrist, and now by far the worst of all I can't find my backpacking equipment. I am an avid backpacker and it is my true passion other than writing. About an hour ago I started to cry because I am that upset, I don't think I have cried in the last ten years. I am not wealthy in fact I am very poor and I can't afford to replace this stuff at least not in the next couple months for the season. If you have a soul return my stuff and prey that I don't kill you. If you know who did this please let me know. I promise to let them live. The Picture is of me in Zion National Park during much happier times. Please help me find my stuff becuase with my luck I will be homeless by tommorrow and I will be a sad homeless person without adequate camping gear.

    Thank you Ryan.

So one of his "true passions" is writing? Poor guy can't even capitalize the correct words or create a sentence that doesn't sound like a sixth grader constructing it.

All I can say is: Don't park your car in a public area FOR SEVERAL DAYS and forget to lock it.

BTW: "Prey" and "pray" do not have the same meaning Mr. Hippy.

Okay, I'm off the spelling/grammar NAZI horse now.

You're also missing the awesome picture of him staring into the wilderness wearing the said backpack, Bear. Maybe someone could post it for him as I'm out the door right now.

we shouldn't laugh... some one stole his backpack man... now he can't be a designer homeless man, he'll have to settle for the cheap crap the people scrapping by have to use.
